Our main building was built in 1898 by J.W. Blair who operated it until 1936 when Jacob Eichman and Charlie Myers bought it. It operated as a partnership between Eichman and Myers until 1946 when Charlie Myers enlisted in the military and sold his share to Jacob Eichman.

In 1951 when Charlie Myers returned to Russell, he purchased the store from Jacob Eichman. It then became Myers Furniture and has been in the Myers family since. Currently Martin Myers is the owner and has three buildings on Main Street in Beautiful Downtown Russell.
